MPPT solar controller query

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I purchased a PowMr 60amp MPPT controller, on my roof, I have 750 watt PV Array peaking at 80v.

So today I noticed that my controllers output was pulling 1.8kw at peak and 60amps, is that even possible? The max input my controller can take is 1440w for my 24v system.

I will say the panels won't deliver 1.8kW but best to verify the readings with a clamp voltmeter.
