ABDurbs
Anybody on this forum have experience with Solar Powered LED Flood/Street lights. Without going into a whole long story, it is not practical to connect my current 20watt garden floods onto my small inverter system, so I am looking for some Solar LED Floods that will keep things lit during load shedding. I have been recomended this 30W Solar Flood but I am concerend that: 1. It will not be powerful enough 2. The battery may be too small to keep them light lit all night. I prefer the looks of this 200w Solar Flood but they are expensive and is the battery also big enough to keep it lit all night. I think both need 12hrs soalr charging so that in itself may be an issue. Alternatively I could just put it onto sensor mode so it only works when someone sets it off. Any help would be appreciated. JacoG
I have 5 Installed at my house. They are not as bright as the normal Led flood lights so quite disappointed with my 30W one's. One has semi stopped working after 3 years it's on during the day and off at night. They do last the whole night but I notice they get dimmer as the night goes on if they had a good charge during the day. ABDurbs

I have a few of these from sinetechstore. I got some 15W and some 40W. The 15W marketing brightness is more like 5W and the 40W marketing brightness more like a 10W. The good news is that they are over 3 years old and still working and run all night long. ABDurbs
