I have had a Sunsynk 8kw inverter with 2 Hubble 5.5kw batteries now for just under a year to beat load shedding and it has worked really well. 

This morning I noticed that the LCD screen on the inverter is flashing in a rebooting cycle and the lights indicating AC and normal don't light up. The inverter appears to operate normally and when load-shedding happened it happily switched over to the batteries. It also won't connect to the wifi now so I can't log anything. 

I have tried switching the inverter off completely for 5 mins in the hope that "Have you tried switching it on and off" would fix it but it didn't. 

When the screen does come on I can quickly navigate to the fault codes but there are none.

Did you manage to solve this issue? I am have the exact same make ans setup, please advise how it was solved.

How was your problem resolved, i am experience same issue currently, please can you advise.

I also have the same issue. Its intermittent. The dongle is offline while this happens and data from the MODBUS is also offline. Inverter runs as per normal though.
I have removed the dongle and removed the WIFI board that dongle plugs into. There is a capacitor on the 12v rail that can cause issues, but removing the board verifies that this is not the problem here.

I have been advised to log a ticket to have the inverter collected and repaired, meaning I will be offline for a while.

Has anyone managed to resolve without sending the inverter off?

Hi, I'm in Durban, mine just started doing the same today, inverter is working as normal running the home, but no wifi connection, can't go into the menu as well...
