Posted April 6, 20231 yr I was having huge problems on my new installation getting the sunsynk WiFi logger to connect - It kept saying Connection Status: DNS Lookup Failure. The vendor was very keen to blame my WiFi. SunSynk today said they have a fix... connect your phone wifi to EAP-xxxxx Input the address 10.10.10.1/serverset.cgi?addr=ukiot.sunsynk.net:51100 into the address bar of the browser. You should get a response { "status": "ok" } power cycle the dongle (unplug it for 10s) For me it was an instant solution. (this might be just for region 2 - Using UK servers, rather than ?China? ) Try it at your own risk, not my fault if your house blows up, or anything else happens
May 20, 20231 yr Thank you for the post. I replaced my home network, and experienced the same issue after. Instant fix, without needing to power cycle. Instantly connected to the new network. Mush appreciated.
