Inverter interferes with electricity when there is no loadshedding

Featured Replies

Hi All please May I have some advise. I’ve recently had an inverter installed. When the battery on the inverter is low and the inverter switches off I also lose electricity from eskom despite the fact that I am not loadshedding. Is there a fault with the way this was installed?

Hi @Nobu. Some inverters should allow usage while charging the batteires but I guess some will switch off when batteries are low. You should have a change over switch that can move your loads back to municipal supply.
