May 30, 20233 yr Hi All, I had a Deye 8kw inverter with 2 x Growcol Lithium 51.2V 100ah batteries installed beginning of this year. It worked great until just over a month ago when batteries started lasting shorter and shorter. My installer made sure the batteries were balanced and everything, but no luck. He then disconnected one battery and we tested each battery seperately. One lasted over 4 hours from full and the other just over 1.5 hours with around the same load. One battery was removed and sent back to GCSolar. They have apparantly found an issue and are fixing the battery, but it has been weeks. On top of that the second battery is not also not lasting as long as it used to. Hardly getting through 2 hours of loadshedding. Has anyone lese used these batteries and had any issues? I would like to expand my batteries as well, but not sure if I should invest more in these batteries. Perhaps cut my losses and buy something completely different? Any advice or information will be appreciated. Thanks.
