Dope Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Hi everyone I need some advice on what batteries I need to get, when keeping my budget in mind. I will be getting an Axpert 3kVA inverter and would like to start off with just two 12V batteries in series. My current modified sinewave inverter has a 12V 105Ah deep cycle battery, but I plan to not use this battery again, as I know it is not recommended to mix old and new batteries. What brand/type of battery would you guys recommend for around R4000 for two batteries, or should I be looking at spending a bit more? Regards Quote
Helius Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 Hi Dope. I would recommend NARADA REX-C 12volt 200a/h. They will be more pricey than you are willing to spend but they have good specifications. http://philsolar.ph/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/REXC-Series-Lead-Carbon-Battery.pdf Quote
