July 15, 20232 yr Hello, within the past few months, I had a LuxPower SNA5000 and BlueNova BN52V-100-5.2k BP installed. This currently supplies power to the lights and the plug points around the house. The issue that I have is that if I boil a kettle this causes something to trip. When this happens the inverter displays a "Communication failure with battery" error which suggests to me that the battery's BMS turns something off to protect the battery. I have a BlueNova BMAC connecting the inverter and battery. The total load on the system doesn't exceed 3kW when this occurs and my suspicion is that this is because the kettle is pulling too much current from the battery. I have noticed that the current reaches 36A+ and then something switches off. However, the battery should be able to support a max discharge of 100A. Do my suspicions sound correct?
