July 18, 20233 yr To start currently I have 4 Narada 100ah 48v batteries and I have no idea how many cycles I have done due to the fact that I still running the lead acid battery settings on my sunsynk inverter. The batteries very rarely go below 50%, according to the inverter and led indicator on the batteries. Am I correct to assume that my batteries will last approximately 10000 days, that's more than 20 years or am i missing something? Edited July 18, 20233 yr by frans400
July 18, 20233 yr If you can find the model number then you can look this up based on the official data sheet. For example if it’s one of these Narada LFP models: https://mpinarada.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Narada-NPFC-FLS-NA-V1R11.pdf Then they’re rated at 6000 cycles to a depth of discharge of 60% at 25 degrees Celsius. July 18, 20233 yr So there would be 2 types of aging to consider: Cycle aging Calendar aging I believe cycling the battery ages it more than calendar aging. Various factors to consider in terms of the percentage of how much capacity is lost. I am also curious as to how long a LFP battery could last though, if it was seldom cycled and mostly just aged after say 20 years. Would it still work and be fine? Is it just capacity which is affected? Would the current it could provide be affected at all?
