August 4, 20233 yr Looking for a sparky to issue a CoC on a DIY install in Pretoria. Preferably also a solar installer to pronounce blessings over my work since insurance now requires an "accredited installer"... 🙂

Also from Pretoria Hi @Melkman I'm now being assisted by Power Guru in Garsfontein. (powerguru.co.za) Thula came to my house last Friday and gave everything a look-over. He is a great guy to talk to! They wanted to do the CoC the next day (Saturday) but I wasn't quite ready for such a quick response so it will be done in the next two days. Can highly recommend!

October 25, 20232 yr So I had Thula and his assistant Wellington from Power Guru to come do my DIY solar COC. Since I bought the house new in the 90's, I also asked him to do a full COC on the house as well. What a pleasant man. I can really recommend him. Him and his assistant were very professional and to the point. Thankyou Paul, for your post. It is not too easy to find someone willing to do a COC on a DIY installation. The outcome on both the house and the solar installation was passed with flying colors. I can highly recommend Thula and his team from Power Guru.
