September 18, 20232 yr Author R9,137 Ex VAT - Exactly like indicated in CoCT tariff sheet. You apply and then they send you a quote (No Cost if you are Resi, Small Commercial). Then you can decide if you want to go ahead

October 9, 20232 yr Author FEEDBACK - Just had the AMI Meter Installed today. So 10-11 Weeks from application. But then, applied for 2 AMI on 2 sites on the same day. The other one still waiting for a quote!!!!
October 9, 20232 yr Thanks for the feedback @Louw. Do you know how this meter works? Can you use the kW/h units you generate in the month at night or do they pay for every kW/h you generate at the feed-in tariff and you must buy every grid kW/h at the normal tariff rate? I guess it is probably the latter as that makes the most sense for the CoCT. I'm still waiting for my SSEG app to be approved, how do I submit an application for an AMI meter in the mean time?
