During a reboot of my SA (Orange Pi) the power was interrupted and when I tried to reboot, I got the following on the kiosk display.

Begin: Running/scripts/local-block... done.

Begin: Running/scripts/local-block done.

Begin: Running /scripts/local-block done. done.

Gave up waiting for root file system device. Common problems:

- Boot args (cat /proc/cmdline) Check rootdelay= (did the system wait long enough?)

- Missing modules (cat /proc/modules: ls /dev) ALERT! /dev/mmcblk0p1 does not exist. Dropping to a shell! (initramfs)_

...

Any idea what I can do to fix this or recover?

Probably your SD card got corrupted and you may have to reflash their software.

Have you got another SD card that you can flash the SA software to?  If so, try that first.
If you have got old data on your current SD card that you wish to preserve, then it's best you speak to SA Admin to see if there is a way to recover that..
 

Edit: OK I found where I can download the image.

Previously: Thanks for responding; I don't mind losing the data but where do I get a copy of the software? - I seem to recall that can be purchased but I bought the Orange Pi with software included and I didn't make a backup.

Just write them a mail. Your purchase in on their records, so there is no reason they won't send you an image that you can then flash to the SD Card.

 

Do I loose my license if I reflash the SD card?

No. If you reflash the SD card and insert it into a previously activated PI it will activate again without requiring a new license. It will also restore the URL you entered during registration (example my-solar.xx.solar-assistant.io) with all previous user access.
