November 8, 20232 yr So yesterday was a rainy overcast day for most of the day, then round about 16:00 things got brighter. My setup is 6 panels facing North, 6 facing East. Round about 16:30, with the sun getting low in the NW, I noticed that the East facing string was still producing about 25% of the total power. By that time the Sun is hitting them from behind, as it were. Interesting the range of angles of incidence (is that the correct term?) at which they operate. I also note that early AM when the sun is over in the East, the North facing string turns on quite quickly. Usually they are making an equal contribution around 11:15 to 11:30.
