justnoel
Need help. I have 12 335watt JA panels which Taking into account solar radiation in jhb and working at 17%efficiency I should at about 12 pm get a out 2600 watts. But even loading the inverter with a kettle of 2000 watts my inverter shows I am only getting 1375watts from the PV Array. It is a 5kw synapse king inverter. GMAC
If I have the right specs that inverter has an 145v max mppt controller so with 12 panels mean 6 strings at 80v or 3string at 120v which is pushing your luck with volts and not very effective. At max they giving 8.8amps per string at best at leas around 7 amps per string with 6 strings makes +- 42amps . So the question is what size PV cables and length are you using and what size fuses . Any bad connections , thin and to long with high amps and loses are going to be very high Edited September 4 by GMAC
