Sofar me3000sp comms to a Seplos v3 BMS

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a Sofar me3000sp and recently hooked it up to a new Seplos 15kw battery with a seplos  v3 BMS, I am struggling to get comms between the battery and inverter. I hope some one can help me please?.I have a connection between the can of the battery and the can on the Inverter, but it throws up a fault if is set the inverter to general lithium . It works ok of i use the default setting that is used for lead acid but this is not ideal as i am not getting the benefit of the lithium battery fitted.

Thanks in advance

Hi Gary,

I am having exactly the same issue as you.. Have you managed to resolve your issue?

I have have not been able to connect my Seplos V4 (V3 bms) to my Sofar me3000sp

I have tried what feels like every combination of CAN  and RS485 wiring.

I have tried the BMS on "SOFAR_CAN" "PYLON_CAN" and "PYLON_485"

I think my Sofar is currently on firmware version 3.02, I have tried a few higher and I was previously on 2.40

Kind Regards,

Matthew

Hi Matthew

Unfortunately.i have not resolved this yet.I have contacted fogstar and seplos,Seplos have not even got back to me,Fogstar have told me to use the pylon settings but still no comms, I am currently on the default.setting which is working in a fashion but with this being lead acid the settings of the battery and the Sofar are not synced accurately.

I have given up at  the moment and accepted what I have currently got.

Regards Gary
