January 8, 20251 yr So I recently upgraded to a Geyserwise solution. My setup is Solar collector, 200lt geyser, 12v battery and pump with dedicated solar panel. Was only installed last week and been noticing big differences from my old SR81 unit. I only use the morning timer and initially set it to run for an hour to heat up to around 60deg. Before I shower I notice that it's about 50ish. I then changed the timer to start 2 hours earlier but it does the same thing. The other issue I have is that when I step into the shower, being the first one, the temp after drops to about 35. This is a quick shower and I keep the faucet in the middle so don't use very hot water. Now, Im comparing this to my previous unit which would heat up from 30 to 60 deg in about an hour and after a single shower, temp will be low 50s. Something doesn't feel right. Is this normal?
