When I am on grid my system works perfectly - a Deye 12Kva + 4 UP5000 batteries. However when I am off grid my home has no power either, in effect rendering the solar plant useless to me…..however if I switch DC Input off, then the system works perfectly. 
 

the downside then is that the batteries are not being replenished because DC Input is switched off.

why? Is there a setting in the inverter that has been set incorrectly or is it something else?
