DB BOX: AC OUT

Featured Replies

Hi guys. I have installed a 5kw Luxpower and Greenrich battery connected to 10x Canadian power 545watt panels. I still need to tidy up the system in terms of trunking and db boxes as I was using the old inverter and battery's installed footprint.

I am at this stage only using 10% of the power generated by this system. Reason for this, I live in an old farm house. The house is approximately 100 years old. With every alteration a new DB was installed. Sorting the wiring is a huge headache as alterations of the roof makes acces to wiring near impossible. It seems I am going to have to follow the trend of adding a db.

My plan is to move some of the load pool pump and AC's to a db situated directly next to my ac/in and out disconnect. The current load will still go to the original db box. I will be feeding two DB boxes from the inverter.  I am sure I can do it. I am looking to find out if there is a reason why I shouldn't before I do. Thx
