freedom one kw stackables firmware

i had 2 x freedom one 5 kw stackable e tower connected to my sunsynk 8kw inverter for about 2 years. i bought the same batery a week ago and do a stackable intsallation with my installer and change the settings on the inverter. the new one at the bottom as no 3 and all connected together and then at the old batt no 1 on top the cables went out to fusses and inverter with the rs485 cable to the inverter and the comms cables supply linking the batt together. all work well yesterday charge all 3 batt and this morning it went down to 40 persent as per my settings and then it shoot up on my diag to 65 % for 15 min then back to 40% and again to 65 % and thereafter back to 40 % and then our escom took over. now the diag show the batt is full and when i look at the lights on the batt it show the 2 old bat is 3 lights on and the new one 4 lights on. do i had to do a firmware upgrade and what else could be wrong
