June 17, 20251 yr The CIU - Customer Interface Unit usually works with a battery to power the device.Try replacing the battery to see if it turns on and still keep it plugged into the wall outlet, as it uses the PLC - Power Line Communication to talk to the meter at your power box on the street.If that doesn’t work, try plugging the CIU at your neighbours (possibly the one who shares or is closest to your meter at the street) and load the token.Failing that working, you will need to log a request with your power provider.
