Growatt - Dyness Error 19

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, I need some direction on how to troubleshoot error 19 on my system . I have the following.

Growatt 5000es
3 x Dyness 5100 batteries
8 x 600w canadian Panels.

The system has been running for a few years. This week. all batteries are dead. Reboot wont work. I get error 04, 19, 20.
Master battery is on 36v. The 2 slaves are on 48v. The master no lights are on. On the slaves light 1 and 3 on the SOC meter are on.

So i took the best battery (By voltage), made it master(dip 3 on) and disconnected the other 2. The inverter did not pick up the battery so i set the inverter(Menu item 5) to USR2 mode and kept the default charge and float values. The battery started to charge and came up to 53v. I then set it back to Li battery and protocol 52 but i get error 19. I also confirmed that the BMS cable is working by using a network tester. It also turned out to be a standard network cable.

At this point im going to pick up a spare 5000es inverter from a friend and test. Pls help if you have any info on this.

Thanks
