I have used an ESP32 to interface between my battery setup and the SMG-iii-6.2kw, this setup works fine when talking to a solis E1HP over CAN, however when I use the data for my EAsun I am able to get the comms error to go off and the "li" sign to light however the unit refuses to charge my batteries the charging light is flashing yet no energy is being sent to the batteries, it will as much solar as it needs to power any load but refuses to send the excess to the batteries. When I turn the comms off the comms error 19 comes on and the batteries start charging so I'm fairly sure I have the settings in the inverter correct. I suspect my problem is what I'm sending to the Inverter is incorrect data ie mv centiamps and deciamps, does anyone have experience sending data to one of these Inverters ?

I have found my problem, firstly the docs that came with my inverter are for a different version of software so I assumed a solid "Li" icon was equivalent to a flashing one, it turns out a solid one can mean bad checksum on the CLHKSUM or there is not enough solar to charge and you haven't set the charge immediately bit ( all very confusing ) and Secondly I had obeyed a doc that said you just had to set bit 32 of the LENID for the checksum, this works for a len of 62H but not a len of 12H.
