April 30Apr 30 hi i bought a Navasolar 1kw trolley inverter . it has a Li-ion battery . its not going to be connected to solar . its just for incase loadshedding returns and for planned power cuts . i just want to know - should i charge it for a few hours then pack it away ? or leave it charging 24/7 ? Google says get the % to around 50% then unplug . if i do that and we have no power i only have 50% run time .

You want to have the battery available with a power outage. I would charge it to 100% and switch it off. If there is no outage in four months, run it down to 80% and charge it up again.
