Hi All

Using the following formula ( PV Watts Produced / Array Size ) to get my systems efficiency, my avg is about 2, and my best is about 2.5. My system does not seem to be that efficient (I'm thinking maybe I put in too big of an PV array), However I do peak a lot when I have 4 pumps running, boiling a kettle and using the stove, washing machine etc. would any one mind telling me here how efficient your systems are.

I think you mean watt-hour produced vs array size. Units are important.

It depends on the season, but I've done as much as 6.6kWh/kWp. This month I'm doing between 4.4 and 5.6 depending on cloud cover and so on. But my system is grid tied with LFP batteries, so charging is very efficient and all surplus gets fed to geysers, tumble driers and so forth.

Yes, thats what i meant, thanks for correcting me Plonkster. I'm going to need to get used to the terminology

I have, Pylontech batteries, so my charging is very efficient and quick too. I was just looking at my Max_Load_day graph and almost every day I peak over 5ooow, and more than 60% of the time i paek at over 6000w. but there are about 4 days where I have peaked over 7000w and up to 8000w. when i tested my system I peaked over 9000W
