Pylontech Phantom-S firmware/SW update

Featured Replies

Hi all,

In case you need to update the obsolete Pylontech Phantom‑S model (based on the US2000B platform) from an older 1.7 firmware version to a newer one, please see the confirmation below:
Please see capacity calculation difference vers versions 1.7 and 2.4.

From 1.7/B63t:

to 2.4 - see within forum for us2000b _v2.4.bin

to 2.9 - after a successful flash to version 2.9, the device name will change from Phantom‑S to US2KBPL. See the forum thread for the us2000b v2.9Crc.bin file (the version will be shown as 2.8).

Enjoy, and make sure not to mix firmware versions.

I’m not sure whether it was necessary to go through each intermediate update — maybe it’s possible to jump straight to the latest version. But I updated step by step.
I used only the BatteryView software, not UpgradeTool V1.0.9, since no bootloader update was required.
