Wanted: Victron Multiplus 24V 1200-1600VA

Featured Replies

Hello guys.

I want to upgrade my 800VA Multi, I don't really have enough money to throw around and upgrade to 48V so I am just looking for a bigger 24V replacement.

1600VA Multiplus preferred, but a 1200VA should also do the job.

Kind Regards

PJ

Yup, and the owner of the 1600VA Multi has been trying to flog that thing for ages (At that stupid price).

I am also entirely open to 3000VA models, if its reasonably priced.

I was just quickly trying to help. Shoot me. 😋

No seriously, it did it quick but the idea was to show to search on like Gumtree ... interestingly 2nd hand Victron equipment is again quite scarce.

What I do in cases like that, I make an offer I am prepared to pay. Sometimes it is yes, sometime no and other time few months later, the seller contacted me back, you still want it at that price you offered. 🙂

Remember: The answer is no, but you are still allowed to ask.

Pray tell where you can get a 1600VA Multiplus for R10k?

Correct. That is R 12 178.50 cl VAT. 🙂

Yes, I feel you, same here, 24v or 48v - HUGE difference if you like me match the load to the batts - and have to replace the bank one day.

Therefor I got a 24v Multigird.

Point is if you buy a Multiplus 3000va then chances are you are going to connect it grid tied and then few years from now, maybe, you need to register it and then you may want to get one that is NRS certification.

ok fair enough... I don't always remember the exact price 🙂 In my mind a 1600VA unit should cost around 9k. Still, that guy is flogging a second-hand one at almost the price of a new one.

Exactly, and I have seen his add for probably the past 10 months?

Soooooo, when are you ready to sever family bonds and sell me your Multi? :P
