Hi all

I have installed a 10kw grid tie system having 2 Mecer Axpert 5kw inverters and two banks of four 120Amphour omnipower batteries March this year. This system gives me about 30min on batery power. I am not sure if my settings on the inverters are correct for charging and depleting bateries. It is set to switch to bateries on 54V and back to utility on 42V i am guessing there are too many cycles per night.

I know the batteries are on the low side for the system.

Any recommendations on what size batteries should i go for, how many?

And then secondly what is the best settings to prolong battery life?

I use about 60kw of electricity per day

Thank you in advance

Axpert isn't grid tied. Its offgrid.
There is a settings sheet for the inverter (preferred settings) but make sure 01 is SBU.   42V is is way too low. 60kw is day and night?
