Posted February 18, 20205 yr Firstly, thanks to everyone that been assisting me with advice in my upgrade journey. I'm upgrading my current system but my roof space is limited (further complicated by my OCD). I have a 3KW Fronius galvo on the output of a 3KVA multiplus . The Fronius is supplied by 9 x 250w Renesola panels. I'm upgrading to a 5KVA Multiplus II and adding MPPT('s) The question: Can I add 5kw panels to the system or must the total system be less than 5KW (taking into account 1.75kw on AC coupled side + 5kw on DC coupled)?
