Firstly, thanks to everyone that been assisting me with advice in my upgrade journey.

 

I'm upgrading my current system but my roof space is limited (further complicated by my OCD). I have a 3KW Fronius galvo on the output of a 3KVA multiplus .

The Fronius is supplied by 9 x 250w Renesola panels.

I'm upgrading to a 5KVA Multiplus II and adding MPPT('s)

 

The question: Can I add 5kw panels to the system or must the total system be less than 5KW (taking into account 1.75kw on AC coupled side + 5kw on DC coupled)?
