Hi all I need advice on two topics... 1. I have a pylontech US3000C that through damage to the inverter seems to have discharged to around 38VDC... It seems that the BMS has disconnected and the inverter (after having been repaired) is not charging it. Is there any way to rescue the battery? 2. Is it possible to connect a BSL 7kwh battery directly to a Victron Multiplus 48/3000 (1st gen) or does the installation require a GX device. The installation will only serve as a UPS system. Regards

Hi All I recently upgraded to a 10kva system and have got these items remaining. The Multi is still 100% functional. 8 x Trojan T105 Batteries (5 years old but was still working when upgrade was done) have been used as backup only and have never been discharged below 60% SOC. Asking R12,500 for the inverter. Will consider reasonable offers on the batteries.

I am in the process of upgrading. Will have a Victron multiplus 3000va 48v inverter available. Still in perfect working condition. Will be open to offers.

Firstly, thanks to everyone that been assisting me with advice in my upgrade journey. I'm upgrading my current system but my roof space is limited (further complicated by my OCD). I have a 3KW Fronius galvo on the output of a 3KVA multiplus . The Fronius is supplied by 9 x 250w Renesola panels. I'm upgrading to a 5KVA Multiplus II and adding MPPT('s) The question: Can I add 5kw panels to the system or must the total system be less than 5KW (taking into account 1.75kw on AC coupled side + 5kw on DC coupled)?

Thanks Jaco, there are no loads before the inverter, it used to be set up on Hub 2, but have now changed to ESS

Owl is connected on incoming AC from the grid, no pv running since pv inverter is in for repairs. Voltage is not read by Owl, it is manually entered in te settings (230V)

I have a 3000va Multiplus (48v) connected to Venus gx via VE bus. When I access the venus, the loads shown, does not correspond to the readings on an owl energy meter. Typically the reading shown on the venus is about half (or less) the load shown on the Owl meter. I'm guessing it is a setting that need to be changed. Any advice on how te rectify?
