March 5, 201610 yr Here is mine in Cpt today. Experimenting a bit, on Friday and Sat evenings set my SOC level to go back to grid at 70%, for system goes down to about +-60% SOC during night, for on Sat and Sun mornings there is a lot waste. Set to go back to solar at 75%. Whilst the batteries are being charged, the system is powering +-357va. One day, ne, when I can set the BMV's settings automatically using software, based on data read, it will get even more cooler to change the BMV's SOC settings on what is coming in on the panels ito volts AND amps, to swap back to solar even earlier if there is enough power to charge both the batts and power the load.
March 8, 201610 yr Top is the BMV monitor, compliments of Victron - can record the data in CSV files. Middle is charge controller, compliments of Morningstar - can also record. Left is Inverter readings, compliments of Victron. No recording. All of it free, but not as cool as SolarMon / AICC. Below is their latest, to adjust MPPT controllers as well as BMV monitors, from your Pc, also free, no recording.
