I wish I had known about this forum before embarking on my recent solar journey. Fantastic sources of information. Thank you for approving my registration.

My first question concerns batteries. I was quoted for  12V 240/280AP FTM8 SCHUBRT GL DEEPc BLACK

and just before lockdown    Schubart 6-GFM-240J 12V 240AH were delivered.

Can these be considered 'the same' to all intents and purposes? Apart from 12V and 240 the code letters mean nothing to me. The supplier is in lockdown and I would prefer an independent opinion anyway.

iS THERE ANY GARANTEE ON THE 6-GFM-240J SEALED LEAD BATTERY?
