How to colour 2-part expoxy putty

Question

Posted

I have bought some expoxy putty that is perfect for the small repair job I need to do EXCEPT it is white when it dries and thus visible.

Today I tried it to colour a test batch with some PVA paint. I folded a couple of drops of the paint into one of the two parts, mixed the two parts until I had a uniform colour and ended up with PVA all over my hands.

What can I add to either of the two parts to change the colour?

TIA

GIMF. Turns out there are specialised resin dies available, though they mostly seem to produce very vivid colours. Also powders you can add if you want a glitter finish (I don't)
