June 8, 20215 yr My inverter supply and municipal supply neutral are different. It becomes challenging when I'm trying to find the neutrals of the devices that were on the municipal power line. Am I missing something? There is a voltage difference between the 2 neutrals. For example if I use the municipal supply neutral and only move the live line of a device over my earth leakage trips. Is there perhaps a bridging that I'm missing somewhere. I have tried bridging the neutrals to no avail. The supply to the inverter uses the municipal neutral. I cant understand why the inverter supply neutral would be different.

My Recommendation is get a decent electrician you have bridged neutrals in your setup somewhere like a light pullining a neurtral from a plug...
