3 phase motor turning wrong direction when inverters are in battery mode

That sounds like you have two phases inverted somehow between those two modes. To reverse a 3ph motor, you swap any two phase wires.

Some clarification. I do not know your wiring, but somewhere, not at the motor, likely at a contactor  or somewhere where your wires are connected at the inverter end, or internal to the inverter, two wires are inverted when the switch between modes occur.

I managed to solve the problem by changing two of the inverter’s output phases. It seems like when the inverters changed over to battery mode, they lost reference of the phases if it makes any sense…
