I would like to thank Leshen and his team for their expert help in remedying the issues with our solar system, especially for getting the Sunsynk inverter to work its magic. We are now producing over 18 kw a day which is more than enough to run the house.

I quite agree with you and would not put our installer in that position. All I want is to get my system working correctly, up to code and efficient. If there is somebody out there that is willing to help me out with what needs to be done (with the installer included if he is willing) I would be grateful.

As far as I can tell he did not know how to. The main DB has been split so yes we have non essential loads.

I will untick it, also the installer did not install the CT coil, not sure if it makes any difference.

Hi, help required please. I have a Sunsynk 5kw inverter with 10 x 460 watt Canadian Solar panels and a 5.12kwh Bslb battery. Everything was working fine until last night when the inverter decided to use grid power instead of the battery. No settings were changed. If I turn the mains to inverter circuit breaker off the inverter draws from the battery, turn it back on it draws from the grid. If I leave the mains to inverter feed off I presume that we will have no power on solar circuit when the battery runs out? Any ideas on what may have changed to cause the problem? Hi, we had a hybrid system installed a couple of weeks ago by an installer. Sunsynk 5kva inverter and I am trying to find out more about how set up the inverter to push excess PV power to the DB board (during the day) to power the geyser for instance. Is there a setting on the inverter or is it an electricians expertise required? The installer wasn't to knowledgeable about this inverter unfortunately and trying to get him back, usual story. Thanks to this forum I have been able to find out alot to set up the inverter for its maximum use. Thanks in advance for any advice. CR

My question is: to add another battery does it have to be the same size and brand. It seems a waste to not use all of the power genrerated and also cater for those cloudy days.
