    I recently purchased 3 x180w panels and a12V / 40A mppt controller from a supplier who assured my that exerything was compatable. I did the install myself. I knew the mppt was limited to 100v input. Wired the panels in series, connected the panels to mppt and was shocked to see 120v input and immediately disconnected the panels. Sadly mppt was tested and was reported as blown. Is it possible to repair the mppt ? Who would be to blame as I was assured that the panels and mppt were compatable ?
