  1. I believe the gentlemen I bought the batteries from, sent them to Solar Europe in Lavender Road, Pretoria North. I suspect he bought the batteries from them.
  2. Hi all, hope someone can help with a solution to a problem I have with my Dyness battery array. I posted earlier last year on two batteries in the array that were bulging (total batteries in array is 5). These were eventually replaced it seems under warranty. The issue is that the 2 new batteries seem to discharge more than the 3 older batteries. Also, the newer batteries seem to end up charging the older ones at around 75%. I see this from time to time by looking at the run lights. Any advise on how to correct the behaviour which would also get the batteries to evenly discharge? Because now the two newer batteries will get to cut-off earlier than the others and would eventually start impacting total service life. Also means I try and stop them from getting to this state of charge and end up not utilising the entire arrays capacity because of these two units. any help would be most appreciated
  3. Anyone know who repairs or can replace Dyness battery cells?
  4. Thanks for the replies. I’m hoping that a service centre can replace though , which would be a safer bet! Just not sure who/where they are. They definitely not as swollen as this video at least.
  5. Hi! I’m an eternal Lurker on this forum and the valuable info I get from this site really helped me a lot with my solar project. I couldn’t find this specific topic being discussed however (or missed it). I recently bought a 5 stack of Dyness B4850 bats from a nice guy close to me, all in an enclosure, looking mighty fine. We disassembled the pack to transport it to my place. I tried to assemble them back into the case, but the separating spars (batteries rest on these) didn’t seat correctly from the 3rd battery upwards. Then I noticed the batteries are slightly swollen (two out of the five). Two questions - how bad a situation is this? The swelling is marginal but noticeable and like I said, they aren’t fitting “comfortably” in the case any longer secondly, how much is an internal battery pack replacement going to cost (ballpark). I don’t think the warranty route is going to be an option - sounded like a bad experience and people got chased away who he bought the batteries from originally. any guidance would be most appreciated Andy
