    I had this unit built .

    I only power a plug & lights phase , 

    One 4 core cable in and out of the DB board. So in theory its quick to remove when I move.

    You should  always take the power from opposite ends of an in-parallel bank, in order to make all the batteries see the same voltage across their terminals.
    So, option 1 is the correct one.
