prinsloo.pieter reacted to Coulomb in Axpert King 5Kw
Glad to hear that. I have added a note to the firmware update instructions on the AEVA PIP-5048MS topic to not use the "Update DSP" button.
I don't know how ICC works, but it sounds like it would have to talk to the RIOT via CAN bus, which seems unlikely to me. Ironically, the protocol (LiB? I can't recall which one) that was removed from Axpert firmware has since been restored, but Hubble no longer use that protocol.
Edit: it may however be possible to connect the Axpert directly to the RIOT via a special cable, but I don't know whether ICC will work well with this arrangement.

prinsloo.pieter got a reaction from Coulomb in Axpert King 5Kw
    Hi, thanks for the response.

I restarted, updated the SBU firmware 2.66 and then the main firmware 71.97, all worked perfectly now. It is so sad that the suppliers in SA could not helped me, support is non existent.
I bought the Hubble 5.5kw battery with the Axpert King. I was under the impression that the BMS will work with the configuration but i was told now that the Hubble is Riot Ready.
    Feedback from the supplier:
"This used to be available on the X-100 model only. Since then we moved away from Modbus. Full integration is only now with a RIOT."
    "A.I. CAN Bus
    Not your ordinary CAN Bus.
The RIOT Cloudlink has its own RIOT Can Bus protocol. This protocol encapsulates 5 different CAN Bus protocols.
When you connect the RIOT device to a CAN Bus enabled Inverter, the RIOT will automatically detect the correct CAN Bus protocol to use through its A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) technology and then enable the best protocol for your inverter.
    A.I. ENABLED
    Cloud Monitoring
The RIOT connects to the Hubble BMS battery through the BMS RS232 port. This enables the RIOT Cloudlink to interface directly with our BMS and report all statistics and alarms to the cloud for remote monitoring.
Complete battery monitoring over the cloud was a high requirement for our installers that need to monitor their clients’ batteries offsite to maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and ensure smooth operation of the installation for their client’s investment."
Apparently i need to get a RIOT CloudLink. I have a Raspberry PI 3ModelB that i use to monitor the system remotely using the ICC software. My question is, can the BMS capability be managed by the Inverter or via Raspberry PI using the ICC software, or what will be the best approach?

    Thank you
