  1. My prepaid meter is out date - currently being replaced. Thanks for the advise.
  2. Good day I have a Cash power prepaid meter. Definitely more than 10y old meter. After installing my solar system - Luxpower sna5000 with panel and battery - my prepaid meter has been on error 30. As my inverter has no feed in ability and I live in East Rand - no feeding in ability is available on inverter or municipality. How can I resolve this issue? I understand this is a connection / communication error.
  3. Good day I want to go solar - I have 1 of 2 ideas in mind 1.) 8*200ah 12v Gel batteries, 8*400w solar panel, 5kw inverter 2.)3*2.5kw 48v lithium batteries, 8*490w solar panels, 5kw inverter If going with either system - the solar array will be expanded later on where needed as budget is limited currently. I would rather begin small, than never start at all. I use 500-600(Sept-April) 580-750kw(May-Aug) power per month. Geyser consumes 200-350kw depending on season. My current idea is to run all my electronics on solar and only geyser on eskom. Stove is Gas, no pool, no ac. Basically Fridge, Chest freezer, Gaming pc, 3 TVs + Decoders, Lights and others. They account for +-300kw of power per month. Any advice for low budget, but solar serious. Else Heat pump is a option, but only save 100-150kw per month depending on season.
