    Good afternoon Looking for advice please. My understanding of a solar system is that if it is grid tied you will need a reference point during loadshedding for the system to still supply electricity to the building. A reference point will be either a generator or a BESS (batteries). Advice needed: 1. Is my understanding correct? 2. If so what are the minimum BESS requirements for a 214 KWP system - we currently use a generator as the reference point during loadshedding but are wondering what is the smallest BESS that can be used as a reference point. This is for an office block. Thank you.
