  1. Hi all, new to this forum.. need some help.. I have a RCT Axpert king 5k, 48v connected to a single pylontech us3000c battery and 6 x longi 450w panels wired 2 2 2 in series then in parallel to give around 94v dc input The issue I have is that the inverter does not seem use mppt solar to feed any load inside the house .. the mppt charges the battery and you see the mppt cone icon — dc—dc to battery — dc-ac but the moment the battery is fully charged the solar does nothing for me besides take up space on the roof, I’ve set the priorities on the inverter to SUb , I’ve changed the settings on number 16 to use solar , yet it seems to make no difference, the solar will just not feed any load. ive had it back to the supplier where they updated mppt firmware , remote panel firmware and the control firmware , although they tested it their battery was also still charging during the time they ran the test .. I have also ran a test with a load and then switch Eskom off and the inverter simply goes straight to battery , and it won’t use the solar panels. Also , I notice if the battery is fully charged and the solar panels do nothing and I unplug the bms cable , the inverter detects no comms with the battery and then the mppt- dc-dc re appears and tries to charge the battery but also provides load, and the pv amps and watts build up. Has any one come across anything like this ? Is it perhaps anything to do with the pylontech bms? i am still waiting for the supplier to come back to me but they don’t seem to have that as a priority.. any help/ feedback will be greatly appreciated as I just want to pv to play some part in this thanks !
