Hi all, Been lurking for a while and pulled the trigger last week on a 5kw Sunsynk, 5kw lifepo and 3.6kw of panels. It turns out my installer in fact doesn't have experience with these, having admitted after finishing the install that it's his first non-Axpert (despite me asking beforehand), and then also saying they don't do CoC's 🤬 Now I'm obviously questioning everything and saw he didnt change any settings either, and i suspect he didnt wire things as I had asked I've updated the settings as follows, the idea was to always have enough juice available for lights and tv in case theres an outage or loadshedding even if it's a poor solar day. I have a prepaid meter and cannot export to the grid. what bothers me is that these settings seems to let the solar production drop and pull more from the grid ticking "limit to load only" however increases solar and changes the picture What settings should I be using? Next parts of the question: 1) are you limited to what you can put on the aux? If i'm using 2kw and panels are pushing 3.6k, and washing machine, tumble dryer and geyser kick on in the aux (7kw) will it push the 1.6kw excess to the aux or will the inverter trip because this exceeds max load and passthrough? 2) is there a difference when someone refers to aux vs "between the inverter and ct coil"? if so, does the latter allow for the abovementioned surplus solar supply? 3) why do i not see anything on the aux in the flow chart? 4) if a load increases on the UPS side on the flow chart, does that mean it is on the inverter and not the aux (asked for my pool to be on the aux but UPS increases when pool kicks on) 5) my meter box is locked, so I cannot switch off eskom at source. how can i test what is on eskom, aux, inverter etc? I asked for most of the house to be put on the inverter, 1 specific circuit to remain on eskom (heavy kitchen stuff), 1 to be on the Aux (washer, dryer) along with the swimming pool and geyser. Switching off the mains leaves the heavy kitchen stuff (supposed to be on eskom) powered - is the mains bypassed somehow perhaps or did they put this on the battery? 6) Any recommendations around Midrand/Waterfall for someone who KNOWS what they're doing and can check the wiring should above tests confirm they didnt do what I wanted
