I have a recently purchased a Firman 1500/1200 watt portable generator - model: P01202 (still waiting for delivery)

Since placing the order, I became aware of the sensitivity issues regarding electronic devices and the high THD value of conventional generators. (in this case 25%)
Question: To solve the problem, I was wondering if I can connect my inverter,
BESTEK 300W Pure Sine Wave with 4.2A 2 USB Power Inverter (12vdc > 115AC)

directly to the Firman generator's 12Vdc "battery charge" output (8.3A), to enable me to power the sensitive electronics devices via the inverter?
The Bestek inverter has an input voltage of 10.5 to 15.5 Vdc (according to spec sheet), and in my opinion should be working fine provided the generator’s 12vdc out fluctuations are within the 10.5 to 15.5 Vdc range. (+/- similar to the fluctuations in my vehicle while driving with the inverter running).
In a way this would be simulating an "inverter generator". I realise that purchasing the real thing would be the preferred way, but unfortunately, financial constraints on my side are prohibiting such a purchase.
I would appreciate it if you could let me know or give some advice.
Update: I do realise that I will only have about 100w available in this proposed setup. I only need 65w for a laptop.
