. Yes, I'm pretty sure, unfortunately. Because I thought it was a LiFePO4 battery all along. When I opened the battery to order the BMS, I discovered that it is divided into 13 sections with cylindrical cells like those used in torches, each with 3.97 V. Multiplied by 13, the total voltage measured was exactly the same...So it seems to be Li-PO. I have attached the specifications from the manual.Under these circumstances, do you think that the BMS will fit or should I pay attention to something else? What do you think about the lack of individual temperature monitoring? Is this a safety risk?

Yes that is what I have done now. As a test, I have ordered these two BMS: DALY BMS 13S 48V 30A DALY Smart BMS Li-Ion 13S 48V 30A These charge with up to 15A and discharge with up to 30A. What worries me a bit is that I can't connect temperature sensors to the DALY BMS?! Originally the Huawei battery has at least 7 sensors as far as I can see. Also, the maximum discharge rate from Huawei for this battery is stated as 0.2C (charge rate 0.15C). Could this be a problem? Unfortunately, the next smaller DALY BMS is much too small again. (Charge 8A/Discharge 15A) Thanks for your help and greetings from Paraguay.

Hey guys! I have some Second Life telecom Lithium Batteries "Powercube 1000 ESM-B02" from Huawei. They run with 48V and have 100Ah. I want to connect those with our GroWatt Inverter, but haven't success so far. 1. I tried to connect the batteries' BMS with the Inverter via a RJ45-cable, but they would not comunicate, but it doesn't seemed to be supported. 2. My seccond attemp was to connect the batteries like "generic" ones without data cable comunication. So I would start the batterie by connecting its PWR-Port directly to + and - pol of the battery by opening the batteries case. The batterie would boot up and after aprox. 3 Minutes the batteries BMS would switch the internal relais to ON and I could use batteries for discharging and charging. BUT after a couple of hours the relais would switch to OFF again. If I am restarting the batterie again the SOC is indicating 0% even so the volmeter shows fully charged batteries! The relais does not switch to ON again either. That already happend to 3 batteries and realy don't now what to do anymore. Can anybody help me please?
