Hi Looking for 4 x 330w panels. Based in centurion.

Hi I have 6 x 330w solar panels which are connected in series to my Growatt SPF5000ES inverter with a Dyness 5.1kwh battery With load, max peak i get from these panels is around 1200watts Panels are placed facing north at around 25-30 degree pitch. What should they be producing on a sunny day?

Got it connected and working. For some reason the newer firmware version Growatt SPF5000ES does not show CAN or 485 under the battery setting options. Just set to battery "LI" then change to L52 and done, using the CAN port. Dip switch 3 to ON.

Hi Would you be able to share your BMS settings as I can't get my growatt ES inverter to communicate with my dyness 5.1kw battery for some reason?

Thank you. Set it up to charge using solar and then eskom when solar is not available. How would this system affect the prepaid meter?

Hey guys Very new to all of this solar and inverter stuff. Got a company to install a small 3kva inverter system (Solarwise hybrid inverter) with 4 x 330w solar panels and a 24v lithium battery with an automatic switch over. This was installed as i was getting fed up of the current load shedding and wanted something to just keep the lights and TV on. Anyway, wanted to find out how this system is suppose to charge etc. For today, we currently have load shedding 3 times. 2am - 4:30am then 10am - 12:30pm and then 18:00 - 20:30 At 2am it switched over to battery and back to Eskom at 4am but at 8am this morning when i went to check on the system the battery was not charging as yet and on the battery, the indicator for the battery showed it was getting low. Should there be some settings on the inverter that will need to be checked?
