Dear all, In regards to the issues I have experienced with my recent setup I would like to announce that the system is up and running with no glitches at present. May I take this opportunity to thank everyone for their most valued and much appreciated inputs in helping me solve all the issues. You guys are fantastic. Pylontech US3000 warranty
Good day all. my local supplier is requesting some values before a warranty for the Pylontech batteries can be activated. The problem is that the values relate to Voltronic inverters and I have Easysolar inverters (Victron Multiplus). Can someone please assist me in where to get the corresponding values with my Easysolar: Program 02: Max charging current Bulk charging voltage (C.V. voltage) Program 05: Battery type Floating charge voltage Program 12: Setting voltage point back to utility source Battery cut-off discharging voltage when grid is available Program 13: setting voltage point back to battery mode Battery re-discharging voltage when grid is available Program 26: Bulk charging voltage (C.V. voltage) Battery cut-off discharging voltage when grid is unavailable Program 29: Low DC cut-off voltage Can someone also tell me if I must still obtain a local warranty from my supplier even though I have filled in the Pylontech "sign up battery" section for the warranty and have received an official registration number? thank you in advance and kind regards

I know all about IRC. I am also in that age bracket (oh to be in my 20's again). Remember the User boards and all of that good stuff. Using DOS instead of Windows 3.1. I could go on but I think I will bore many people. How about 45 rpm and 33 rpm vinyl music records (making a comeback I believe!).

Thank you so much for all the valuable input. I will set the dynamic cutoff to 42V as suggested by you plonkster. There are 4 values for this. Do I just set the 2 C to 42V and leave the other settings as is ? What a great and valuable forum this is and I thank people like Jaco de Jongh and plonkster for their tireless advice. It is much appreciated.

Good day. 1) My Multiplus inverters in my EasySolar systems supplies the load correctly when drawing power from the solar panels and battery bank. However, when attempting to activate AC input from the grid, the 63 A RCD output breaker trips after about 30 seconds. I have measured the voltage between earth and neutral at the grid input side and there is a 0.440 v reading. This should be 0 v if I am correct. Could this be tripping the RCD and if so, can I bypass this RCD and go straight to the circuit breaker after it, which is part of the EasySolar system? 2) My ESS setup brings the low voltage light on and prevents the inverter from inverting. I have set the parameters up correctly as suggested on a previous post but still have problems. Please help as this setup is giving me endless problems. Thank you and kind regards,

Hi Jaco. The Pylontech documentation recommends 37 ah although maximum is 75 ah as you pointed out so this gives 444 ah. Yes I have a low voltage hub connecting the 12 pylons via CANbus cabling. I was thinking of connecting the inverters in parallel but decided to leave them as separate systems. The inverters supply two different loads but are connected to the same battery bank. I have connected the two MPTT controllers to the same CCGX so that the BMS of the Pylons can control both of them. I have connected a Victron BMV 712 battery monitor via a shunt to the unconnected CCGX as a extra seperate battery monitor.

Good day all I am trying to set my two EasySolar systems up to use the ESS function. However after installing the ESS assistants using VeConfigure, the inverters start flashing the low battery voltage led and then disconnect. My battery bank is sitting on 52v (Pylontech US3000) so there is no actual low voltage present. My parameters for the ESS Assistant are as follows: Country/Grid Code Standard : Other not compliant to any grid code standard (there is no option for South Africa in the live setup as given in the Fake Target With Full Options setup) LOM Detection: Type B Transfer Switch: Unchecked Inverter Tab: Left on default Charger Tab: Enable Charge selected; Absorption Voltage: 52.2V, Float Voltage: 52.00V, Charge Current: 50A Absorption time: 2 hrs Battery system: System uses LiFePo4 with other type BMS Battery capacity: 444 Ah (I have 12 x US3000 Pylontech batteries) Sustain Voltage: 48V Dynamic cut-off: 46V for 2c as per Victron/Pylontech reccommendations Restart offset: left on default (1.20V above cut-off) Pv Inverters: No Can anyone assist with the solution to this problem? Victron Easysolar Parallel Setup
I am a bit confused about this. From what I can understand from Victron's notes on parallel operation of inverters, the AC inlet and outlet wire lengths must be of the same length just the same as for the DC side. According to the notes, a small difference in wire resistance due to unequal lengths can result in one inverter delivering twice as much amps as the other. Am I understanding their document correctly or not? I have always been under the impression that only the DC side of the installation must have equal lengths of conductor wiring. This is the confusing part for me.

Sorry for the questions one at a time but they come to me as I ponder the job ahead. Is it really very critical that my AC inlet and outlet cable lengths be exactly the same length for a two unit parallel system? My two easysolar units are only about 320 mm apart measuring from the inlet and outlet circuit breakers respectively.

Thanks Jaco I also believed that this is the way to go. Now I have a problem!! I have a colour controller spare at more than R8,000 (ouch!!!) I take it that I would connect the slave's MPPT CC via ve.direct cable to the 2nd ve.direct port in the Master inverters CCGX also.

Victron Easysolar Parallel Setup
Good day all I have two Easysolar inverters that I want to set up in parallel. I do know that they are actually two multiplus inverters but I would appreciate some clarity on certain things. The two inverters each have their own colour controller and I would like to know if I must leave both connected via their respective RJ45 ports on the inverters or must I unplug the slave's colour controller once set up in parallel configuration ? Your advice and wisdom will be greatly appreciated. Thank you and regards.

Thanks Coulomb I will check as advised about the blown fuse. I have already opened the inverter box and cannot detect any burnt smell. Will keep you updated when I have a chance to inspect the system again in between my hectic days. Regards and thanks once again...

Good day all My inverter was overloaded when the microwave oven was used. I have had overloads before but waited some minutes and the inverter worked properly again. However this time the inverter stopped producing AC output, gave 3 beeps and shut down. After some minutes I tried to restart it. The panel showed the battery symbol with one bar only and a voltage of 1.1v and shut down almost immediately. The battery bank has 26v confirmed from my MM. I tried to start from having a small load attached to prevent any low load protection from being the culprit however thie unit refuses to invert from the battery bank now. The error showing is 01 with the led continuously on , which as far as I can ascertain, is for a locked fan. However I have had a flashing warning of 01 for a long time with no sign of any fan problems and I have lived with this warning with no adverse effects until now. I would really appreciate some help from all my learned fellow members as I am not in a situation to buy a new board or send the inverter in for repairs. thank you in advance,
