I'm trying to avoid problems previously posted where master invertors on Axpert/Kodak systems rejected generator inputs in times of 'darkness' . I'm totally off-grid with 16x330W panels , 3x5kW inverters and 4 off Pylontech 3000 batteries. So the question is what the best-value options are for a portable generator that will produce stable enough outputs (voltage, frequency and lack of harmonics) to do the job ?
All advice appreciated
Hi Kobus
Don't know if the post is still open, but I have a related problem. My set-up is similar to yours, but I don't have the generator yet. To avoid the problem, what would recommendations be on what my best value generator options are - I'm thinking around 7,5-9 kVA, electric start. Question is conventional or inverter generator ?
