Sunsynk - 8kw hybrid inverter - Dont Export Power - Non Essential Loads - No PV Power
@Sidewinder Thank you for your input. Please disregard the SOC values as I this is temporary till I get this question answered. The 45% SOC was just allowing me to try and figure out if we were exporting power from the batteries during the evening to the non essential loads. There seems to be no way built in unfortunately to prevent the batteries from discharging to the non essential loads but powered from the PV during the day. I have a gyeser, pool pump and underfloor heating on the non essential loads. While the pool pump and gyesers can be set on timers, the underfloor heating needs to run during non daylight hours. As a result the power is used from the batteries to supply this. Now my goal is in the evening to have the non-essential loads draw power from the batteries and if they use a little more / less than normal thats ok as long as it stays just above the SOC limit setting. But when the underfloor heating is on it just drains the battery in 1-3 hours. Meaning the SOC will always be at the limit indicated. The underfloor heating is essentially a luxury and I would rather that just come from the grid in the evenings (in the daytime the PV can support it) but I dont want to drain my batteries just for heating. It just seems a bit unessisary.

Thank you. It does not seem to be an option offered with the standard settings.

@Carl Anthony I will have to investigate the Solar Assistant as I was not aware of this system.

Sunsynk - 8kw hybrid inverter - Dont Export Power - Non Essential Loads - No PV Power
Thanks @Carl Anthony , I appreciate the input here. Unfortunately I dont think this solves the issue. My problem is that even with these settings the inverter is pulling power from the battery to the non-essential loads at night. So my non-essential loads are, my geyser, my pool pump, my underfloor heating. Now the issue is not the gyesers as those can be set on timers to be only activated during the hours there is good PV production, same with the pool pump. My issue is the underfloor heating. I only have it in the bathrooms but during hours the sun is not up is essentially when we need it the most, it has a smart timer function also but its really the evenings and early mornings we want it running and I dont want it pulling from the battery as it totally drains the battery. I would like to utlitze my non essential loads on the battery system to help reduce overall electricity consumption but still have backup power when there is no electriicty. Underfloor heating is just a luxury when its really cold. With the settings you have indicated it does not seem to allow me to prevent battery supply to non-essential loads during no PV production hours. Or am I mistaken?

Sunsynk - 8kw hybrid inverter - Dont Export Power - Non Essential Loads - No PV Power
Please can someone with Sunsynk experiance provide some advise . I have a Sunsynk 8kW Hybrid Inverter and Im having a tough time trying to adjust my settings to achieve the following. (Maybe its just not possible with the Sunsynk product as I am able to achieve with the Victron inverter system) I want my inverter to during peak daylight hours supply PV power to charge my battery, supply power to my essential loads (UPS) and my non essential loads. I want the inverter to prioratize the essentail loads and non essential loads during this period and balance provided to the batteries. I dont want to export to the grid for obvious reasons. During hours were there is no PV supply (night etc) I want the battery to supply the essential loads up to the specified SOC from the batteries. I dont want the non essential loads to be supplied by the battery, that can be powered by the grid. I have tried what I beleive to be almost every setting and asked for assistance from their support team but I cant seem to achieve this. Is it even possible? Here is a screenshot of my settings.. I have tried "Zero-Export+Limit to Load Only" but this only supplies power to the essential loads and batteries only. It does not export to the non essential loads. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Silicone Battery Inverter Settings
Hey Everyone, I was hoping I could get some advice on where to look or some recommendation on what the best settings would be for my battery charge settings for my inverter system / solar system. Currently my setup is as follows. Victron Smart Solar MPPT 150 | 100 - Tr Victron Venus GX Victron Smart Shunt 500A/50mV Victron Multiplus ii | 48v / 3000 / 35A 8x 12v 800A Solsave Silicone Batteries https://batterydistributors.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/Solsave-Silicone-Power-Battery-Datasheet.pdf The batteries are setup in a 48V configuration with 2 Banks in parallel of 4 batteries in series. The system is connected to AC for a battery backup solution for my office. There are fuses, breakers, disconnect switches, 48 - 12V DC-DC inverter, 12V fuse box and 12V components like 3G modem also in the system. But I don’t belive that affects my question on Battery settings. Sorry I don’t have a diagram but I have not had a chance to draw one up. My questions are What type of batteries are these? I belive they are AGM with some fancy marketing. I cant find much material on what settings can be applied What settings can be reccomended I apply for these, or look for, regarding the Multiplus ii and Smart Solar devices. DC Input Low Shutdown DC Input Low Restart DC Input Absorption Voltage Float Voltage Charge Current Repeated Absorption Time Repeated Absorption Interval Maximum Absorption Time Currently the system is just on the default settings. Though a lot of people indicate the Victrron system has a good default setup for AGM batteries I would like to ensure that I dont damage these batteries learning an expensive lesson down the line on correct settings for the batteries. I cant seem to find a good resource indicating what ae best practices, settings or breakdowns for diffrent battery types. A lot of people indicate that this should be found with the data sheets for the batteries but as you can see from the link provided this does not appear to be clear with this type of battey. Any advice or reccomendations would greatly be apprecaited.
