Axpert switching off and on by itself
Hi all, I have a client who has 2 x 4KW Axperts in paralell with 24 x 2v flooded batteries and 12 x 250wp poly modules. Installation was done in December 2015 and of late the inverters are switching off and back on after a second or two. They mainly experience this at night. He says he doesn't believe that the inverters are overloading as they stagger the loads, but he and I will do an over load test. Anyone who may know what else (i.e. other than an overload) may cause the inverters to switch off and on? Many thanks, Aldre

Victron Multiplus 24v/5000
We had it on invert priority, i.e. solar only charging batteries with AC doing maintenance charges; and the one thing I can say about the Victron it is very causes to drain your batteries if it knows your PV is on the short side as it does all sorts of calcs taking into account daytime consumption vs solar power etc.

Victron Multiplus 24v/5000
Hi there, my client had a 3 KW SMA with the 5kVa Victron in hybrid config, wanted more panels and wasn't too happy that the Victron didn't cycle the batteries deeper and also didn't want to spend more money on inverters. Opted for 2 x Axperts with now 4.5KW of PV panel array and is planning to add more panels and batteries later as the 2 x Axpert can take 6KW of panels in total. I already sold the SMA to a client in Paarl whose feeding back to the grid. I don't know if you know the Victron - you can't hook solar panels directly to it, you need a charge controller or grid inverter for the PV side but, it is an awesome piece of equipment for a hybrid system with many different setting capabilities. Personally I would have rather kept what he had and rather would have tried to swop the SMA for a 5KW SMA.

Victron Multiplus 24v/5000
Hi All, I have a Victron Multiplus 24v/5kVa 7 months old. Looking for R25K. New after Victron's price increase in Oct last year and the weak Rand they go for about R40K. Thanks, Aldre

Imeon 3.6 dropping utility
Settings are done as per normal. We've done about 10 Imeon installs already. Never had this with any other of my installs. Could the inverter be faulty or something to do with the disk meter?

Imeon 3.6 dropping utility
I recently installed a Imeon 3.6. Client has a disc meter. System is set up in Smart mode. During the day when loads are less than production the inverter somehow drops eskom/utility. When the loads increase to above 3KW whilst eskom is "not present" the system overloads and shuts down the power to the house. Anyone having experienced something similar and if so how do I fix it?
